• participation in provision of clinical care to elective and emergency patients in department of surgery
• conduct ward rounds, and coordinate the post-graduate residents regarding the peri-operative care of patients
• partake in general surgical outdoor clinics and perform general surgical operations on elective list
• Act as a team leader in general surgical emergency in which we receive and manage patients suffering from trauma and infections.

I was mainly responsible for peri-operative care of general surgical patients in ward. I had one outdoor and one general surgical emergency per week. I also performed general surgical operations under supervision on elective lists.
