The multinational organization was spanning over more than 25 countries with production / Sales hubs in Russia and Georgia and HQ in Dubai, using multiple ERPs (MS Dynamics 365, EXACT and 1C).

As the lead financial-functional consultant, I ws entrusted with entire discovery, requirements gathering, functional design, logic and consolidation accounting and reporting.

My deliverables including the understanding of end-to-end financial accounting, reporting, consolidation and management reporting system "As-Is" and "To-Be" with CRAS tool.

Under a co-sourcing model, offered professional services as Head of Internal Audit for FMCG and IT conglomerate DWP Group. Spearheaded a team of in-house IA managers & executives across Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad.

The Internal Audit (IA) mandate and charter, aligned with strategic KPIs agreed upon by the Board of Directors (BoD), were executed through the Annual Internal Audit Plan. The planned audit activities were systematically implemented, with progress reviewed monthly by management and quarterly by the BoD

Both Value Maintenance and Value Enhancement outlooks as well as the Pre-audit and internal audit perspectives were included and covered in the strategic IA charter.

• Led financial operations for Consumer Electronics (GREE, EcoStar) and IT divisions (Lenovo, Cisco, Huawei, Xerox).
• Spearheaded ERP functional implementation, integrating supply chain, finance, and sales operations.
• Managed a nationwide financial team of 50+ personnel.
• Provided strategic financial reporting to CEO, CFO, COO, and Board of Directors.

As the first CFO, established the Accounts & Finance function from the ground up, laying a strong financial foundation for production and commercial operations. Key contributions included:

Team Development: Hired, trained, and led a high-performing finance team.
Systems & Reporting: Implemented accounting frameworks, financial reporting systems, and SOPs.

Transitioned from audit to industry by joining Needlepoint as Financial Controller immediately after completing articleship. This role provided a foundational learning experience, allowing me to gain firsthand exposure to industrial financial management, business processes, and corporate dynamics. Focused on understanding operational systems, financial controls, and the transition from audit principles to industry practices.
