Passionate and disciplined individual seeking a Graduate Research position with the Gender Studies/Social Sciences department to pursue extensive research. To examine feasible approaches that may assist to explore new research avenues in social sciences and gender studies with special focus on Asia and Pakistan.
As instructor and researcher in an academic institution I always keep myself abreast of the new research and theories in the field of gender studies and especially in the areas of my interest such as gender based violence in Asia and particularly in South Asia and Pakistan.

Student research guidance
2008- Worked as an internee in the project of UNDP (gender justice through Musalihat Anjuman project, GJTMAP) for 08 weeks, at the local government complex sanda road, Lahore.
2008- Participated as a facilitator in the training of trainers (ToT’s) convened by Gender Justice through Musalihat Anjuman Project (GJTMAP) Punjab A PROJECT OF UNDP and department of gender studies, the university of Punjab from 1st Nov to 5th (1st ToT) and from 12th to 16th (2nd ToT) Nov 2008.
2008- Worked as a field assistant in the educational project with UNICEF and WORLD BANK for 23 days in the various districts of Punjab (Multan, Okara, Attock, Hafizabad, and Faisalabad). 2010- Participated in a Training workshop on Strengthening Federalism in Pakistan in December 2010.
2011- Participated in one day workshop on Statistical Data Analysis using SPSS on October 19, 2011.
2011- Participated in Consultative meeting on “Draft: Punjab Youth Policy” November 29, 2011.
2014- Delivered lecture on the eve of 16 days of activism against gender-based violence on 7th December 2017 Participated in the residence committee for the arrangements of Convocation 2014.
2018- Participated in one day Workshop on Research Methods & Techniques on 15th May 2108.
2019- Participated in National Conference (2019) on “Making of New Provinces in Pakistan” as a member of various committees and as Session Moderator “Challenges and opportunities for Women in New Province”.
2021- Participated in an international Conference (2021) on “Federalism state and society in Pakistan” as a member of various Women in Pakistan and as a session Moderator on “Status of Women in Pakistan”.
