- Conduct research to develop new chemical formulations and processes, and devise new technical applications of industrial chemicals and compounds.

- Conduct regular sampling and laboratory analysis of plant process water, steam, and other samples.
- Manage the chemical laboratory, liaise with suppliers, and maintain material safety data sheets(MSDS).
