• Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities of fabrication/welding to assigned team to meet functional objectives.
• Monitor & control the working man hrs. and complete the task accordingly. Provide input for preparation of the department budget and assist in implementation of approved budget and work plans to deliver section objectives.
• Interpret and implement quality assurance standards.
• Implement approved section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of sections work programs in line with company and international standards.
• Oversee the Fabrication, Welding & Erection activities of Piping and Structures.
• Monitoring and issuing technical queries to the customer regarding the problems faced on daily basis.
• Supervise & Monitor the Construction & Fabrication activities according to the cods and slanders and as per Clint requirement.
• Coordinating the inspection activities among with Quality and Planning department at site to meet the requirements.
• Monitor daily progress & delays and troubleshoot the technical issues.
• Preparation & monitor of 03 weeks plan along with Gant Charts to get the work done on time and within budget.
• Checking & Coordinate daily feedback with team, regarding the updated requirement of tools, tackles and the consumables for the Fabrication & Welding activities.
• To check, instruct and monitor the activities (Fabrication & Welding) as per latest drawings. P&ID’s Layouts etc. To ensure that all the materials used are according to the specifications and standards.
• To manage the site on a day-to-day basis that includes supervising, monitoring the labor force and the sub-contractors.
• Train and develop the assigned team on relevant fabrication/welding giellic to enable them to become proficient on the hob and deliver the section objectives.
• Monitor & Implement the HSE procedures & practices. Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation, sustainability guidelines in line with international standards and best practices.
• Supervise dimensional check on fabricated items/assembly to ensure compliance to drawing tolerances and detail requirements.
• To perform work in accordance with company quality and safety policy, in compliance with the customer requirements
• To resolve disputed issues arising from the technical problems.
• Monitor & Maintain good housekeeping within shop, associated lay down and storage areas.
