• Help provide Non-Operating Room Anaesthesia for patients undergoing endoscopic and interventional procedures in radiology and cardiac cath lab and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT).
• Assess patients at the preop anaesthesia assessment clinic and chronic pain clinic.
• Be on call for emergency airway management as part of the 24-hour work shift.

CGH is a busy, JCI-accredited training hospital in east Singapore with a 1,000 bed capacity. At CGH, I was exposed to high-risk elderly and trauma patients. I developed skills in vascular catheterization (arterial, central venous), advanced airway techniques (video-laryngoscopes,
fiberoptic bronchoscopy), and ultrasound-guided nerve blocks.

We also had basic training in bedside cardiac ultrasound.

Provided anaesthesia for emergency proedures for general surgical, orthopaedic and paediatric surgeries 7/24.

On call cover for resuscitation in the camp.

Teaching of local staff on Basic Cardiac Life Support.

• Help provide Non-Operating Room Anaesthesia/sedation for patients undergoing MRI/CT scan.
