  • Working as Chairman of Pediatric Radiology Department since October 2011 to Date
  • Doing X-ray/Fluoroscopy/CT/MRI reporting of all body regions in Pediatric age group and involved in Ultrasonography/Color Doppler Ultrasound in addition to image guided biopsies and aspirations. Point of care ultrasound is a key feature especially for neonatology and Pediatric ICU (including Medical/Surgical ICU)
  • The Children's Hospital is a 1150 bedded tertiary care hospital and carters all Pediatric diseases having various clinical disciplines including Pediatric Medicine, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Emergency, Pediatric Neurology/Neurosurgery, Pediatric Nephrology/Urology, Pediatric Orthopedic, Pediatric Orthodontics/Maxillofacial surgery, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatric Endocrinology, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Pediatric ENT/Cochlear implant and Pediatric Opthalmology. I am directly involved in better imaging care of patients from all pediatric clinical disciplines. I am a part of various multidisciplinary meeting with different clinical departments including Hematology/Oncology, Neurology/Neurosurgery, Gastroenterology and Pediatric surgery teams on weekly bases to discuss Radiological input and further management plan to focus better care of patients.
  • Supervising Radiology residents (FCPS, MCPS and MD Radiology) since 2008. Approximately 100 residents have been trained, 60 students passed post graduate fellowship and working in various countries as specialist in the discipline of Radiology.
  • This hospital also runs Allied School and B.Sc Medical Imaging Technology (MIT) course, a four years teaching program being conducted under the supervision of University of Health Sciences Lahore
  • The Radiology Department is well equipped with CR, DR, Digital Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, 640-slice CT scanner and 1.5 Tesla MRI (Philips) along with various portable x ray machines
