Abdul Basit Bhatti

I am an Economist well-versed in conducting analyses and studies on effects of economic conditions on various sectors of the economy. In addition to this, I have accumulated in-depth understanding and experience of policy formulation and implementation at national level. Presently, I am the part and parcel of work of Corporate Finance Commodities Sector which comes in ambit of Finance Division, Government of Pakistan. I am looking for a role in national and international policy think tanks to seek diverse exposure and enhance my knowledge and skills.

I am an avid reader in general. However, I read much about economics. Recently, I have read anti- text books on Macro- and Microeconomics written by Hill & Myatt. Presently, I am reading Capital in 21st Century Book by Thomas Piketty. I addition to this, I like free writing on daily life issues and economic issues. My social media account is full of ideas relating to human rights, education, economy, morality etc. No only this but I also like travelling because it provides my chance to interact with people of with different culture, history and origin.
