  • Joined the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) as Senior Vice President, serving as Wing Head in the Audit Group, with direct reporting responsibilities to the Board’s Audit Committee (BAC). In this role, I played a key leadership position in supporting the BAC’s oversight of financial reporting, risk management, and internal control systems. My contributions were formally recognized through a letter of appreciation for consistently upholding high standards of integrity, transparency, and effectiveness in managing BAC affairs.
  • In January 2013, I was promoted to Executive Vice President (EVP), and subsequently to Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) and Chief Internal Auditor in October 2016, reflecting recognition of my strategic leadership, governance capabilities, and contributions to internal reform. As Chief Internal Auditor, I led a comprehensive transformation of internal audit practices, strengthening the Bank’s compliance, risk mitigation, and governance frameworks.
