Background of the Project:
Ehsas Taleemi Wazaif (ETW) is the first of its nature in Pakistan, to promote education of children of registered poor families with the Ehsas Kafalat programme and to reduce the number of out of school children. ETW is being praised at international forums including World Bank as one of the Best Social Safety Net Programmes in the times of global pandemic COVID-19.
The objectives of ETW (Ehsas Taleemi Wazaif) programme are:
In doing so, the program contributes towards three of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) which are as follows:
SDG 1: End poverty in all its form
SDG 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promotion of lifelong learning opportunity
SDG 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
My Responsibilities:
· Day to day Monitoring of the activities of ETW (Ehsas Taleemi Wazaif)
· Engaged in daily enrolments of children from the needy class to enhance their financial capabilities to make the education easily accessible.
· Supervision of field compliance monitors to provide them technical support and assign daily targets using Ehsas Taleemi Wazaif Portal, and to also provide Solutions of ground level difficulties faced by the field officers.
· Handling of HR case management, (i.e., preparing files, record keeping and record management)
· Data Analysis, extraction and plotting of daily tasks done by officials.
· Daily reporting to Director General (CCT)
· Provide suggestions to collection process via solicitation and analysis of feedback as well as detailed reporting.
· TO help in devising policies to bring more digitalization based on Gathered, organized and evaluated data.
· Managed quality programs to reduce overdue compliance activities.
· Promoted top data accuracy by partnering with businesses, internal MIS specialists.
· Used MS Excel and Word to create reports to keep senior management informed of operations and progress of compliance efforts.
During 3 years of work as a Research Assistant, under supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdul Jalil (Memorial Chair Holder of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) & Professor of Economics in Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE)), the responsibilities that I performed were not limited to
· Developed macros, special formulas, and other actions to produce reliable and consistent statistical reviews.
· Finding Relevant Material in the form of policies, Acts, rules and etc
· Used various sources including relevant databases, publication, online research, surveys, primary government documents and additional databases
· Perform statistical and economic analysis of data using computer software
· Prepare tables, graphs, presentations on ppt and written reports summarizing research results

· Helped in creating knowledge briefs related to the field of exchange rate, currency undervaluation and capital flows.
During this time period I also completed my research thesis on “Impact of Monetary Policy on Capital Flows: A Cointegration Analysis for Pakistan” under his supervision. `
